Thursday, OCTOBER 1

Holy shit, it's October already.

Extra Work:
Put 10 minutes on the clock and accumulate as many quality HS walks or HS Hold time as possible. 

Class is a good one tomorrow! Have fun and finish out the week right, everyone has earned their deload week and has started to feel that need!

  2. Body felt a bit roughed up today. Took a while to get going.
    Got through FS at 200# with no fails. Definitely a struggle by the end. Can't believe how fast 90 seconds flies by.

    Really felt the abdominalzz and hips on the burpees. Tried to go UB on all the DL but broke the third set 8-4.

    Not my best day of HS holds. Had a good set and then a bad set - no consistency. Need to work on being "less gooey" going up, according to Littlest.

    Looking forward to some food, hydration, and a little bit of rest.

    Hooray for October!

  3. Welp, fronts made me pee once again. Made all at 200# but def got sloppy at the end rounds, especially keeping a good front rack.

    Workout finished in 6:28. Tired legs but got through it as fast as my body let me. I've noticed in the past weeks that tired deadlifts are an area of opportunity for me.

    Doing HS holds/walks with RT later today!

  4. Hit the 930 class. Front squats at 245. Legs felt ok but left elbow in the rack position keeps dropping. Need to evaluate and fix.

    7:27 on today's workout. Unbroken but slow on the DL's. It's one of my weakest movements so not upset with the time.

    Handstand walks are improving. Finding better balance and position has obviously helped. Usually finished half way or more distance wise with the rig. Getting there. Great job everyone and happy birthday ca$h!

    FS- only did 245. 1st time squatting in 2 weeks cause of the groin & had no issues
    WOD- 5:49. Bar facing burpees suck ass!!

  6. I second your sentiment Jeff... HOW IS IT OCTOBER?!?

    For FS today, I did 1 set at 185 since we weren't finished warming up then finished out at 195. They felt good. No misses!

    Finished the workout in 6:58. DL were great all unbroken, burpees were definitely too slow.

    Didn't get to the HS hold tonight but am going in tomorrow and will do some work on those then.

  7. First off I want to make a statement of truth-----I require more CA$H posts on this blog. I never see him anymore and he is being selfish not posting on this blog and giving me a YouTube clip to watch during my 10th period lunch to get me through that last period of school.

    F SQTS-275x2 295x2 then 315 for remainder of sets. Had to remind myself my body lies to me to get me rolling today.
    WOD-6:09
    Handstand hold work for 5 sets along with s press and finished with some OH yoke walks and plate pinches baby!!!

    I hope everyone enjoys their deload week. I had mine last week and it was terrible. Good luck. I lost about 50lbs off my snatch and C&J. Probly 100lbs off my squat and my gymnastic numbers all cut in half. No wind when I got back either. Gotta love those deloads...

    Front squats felt ok today did all of them at 195. Is it possible my legs are getting stronger?

    Workout: hmmmmmmmm weeeeelllllllllllll 2 of the poopiest movements for me. Maybe I'm broken? Maybe I just need someone to cattle prod me or maybe I just need a straight up DL/Burpee for dummies book.... Finished this is 8:46.... Sorry peeps I think the For Dummies book is a necessity and makes a great stocking stuffer!!!!

    I would also like to address that I apparently want to know all about peeps being ticklish! FREE TICKLES FOR ALL!!! Sorry if any of you guys got a weird message on FB!
