Saturday, August 29

We will NOT be having skulls tomorrow due to a mass out-of-town-ness.  We will however be hitting some work at 8am in the side area and maybe progressing to the main area for a workout. Agenda as follows -- Maria and John Sans are also looking to put together a ~2pm group, get with them for that. 

1) Warm-Up / Barbell Cycling:
With a partner (or 2) complete an 8 minute Ladder as high as possible of:
1-2-3-4-5-6-7:
Squat Snatch @ 115/75#
*If one teammate fails to complete a rung, they start over, other teammate continues on - Score is total reps per person*

2) E2MOM16:
1 Hang Squat Clean + 1 Power Clean + 2 Jerks @ 65-75% -- Goal here is to catch the power clean with good footwork, and stick both jerks. 

3) E3MOM15:
400m/350m Row
10 STO 115/75#
5/4 Muscle-Ups
*Rest remainder of the minutes*

4) 4 x 50ft HS Walk - Not timed, for form.

  2. FIRST: GOOD LUCK EVERYONE competing today!!!! Kick some booty!!! Well, totally enjoyed the BRO sesh today. Thanks for letting me crash your party fellas!!! Those snatches got feisty!
    Cleans: build to 150
    Row, STO and Mu's... WHOA... underestimated those STO's. Blasted the shoulders did 3,2,2,2,3 on the Mu's...looking forward to getting better on those puppies!
    Did the Handstand walks as best as possible.

    THEN ran 1 mile with a weight vest with CSans and RT. THANK YOU, BOTH soooooooooooo much for #1 making me do that and #2 doing it with me!!!! You guy are the bees knees!!!! HUGS to you both!!! Looking forward to doing more of that stuff with friends! And well, Brick killed a man with a trident.

    Regular class was fun stuff but not to taxing.

    Skulls super taxing by round 3 of the row sto mu Emom I questioned why I thought 2 a day be fun.

    Glad had a solid 2pm crew to do that with csans was right don't do that solo.

    2) Up do 255, last set was the best...squat was rough today, legs still tight/beat up from Thursday.
    3) All UB - Fastest round done @ 2.08, slowest at 2.19
    4) All done UB, last round was goooooey - CSans handed me my ass on the last one

    Good day, I echo what Chris said above, love you guys! Had a lot of fun supporting the BATR team - they did fucking amazing!

  6. My first fall day back..... Woooooohoooooooooooooo!!!!

    1) Sunshine and I worked up to 7 and stopped cause we thought we were following directions ....surprise surprise, Maria was not following directions!
    2) Worked up to 135 on the E2MOM-felt pretty good for being MIA for a month-definitely need to work on heavy push jerks, split jerking felt great! Squat clean felt great also!
    3) This was tough! Row took me forever, went UB on STO except for last round, MU's got 4/2/2/2/1 - Chris don't be mad but dips help me back today! Ahhhhh!
    4) Only did 2 sets of 50ft HS walk cause my mouth hurt so bad!! All in all, today felt great and not as bad as I thought but kind of nervous it was my pain meds making me not feel the burn/pain!!

    Glad to be back and excited to get 100% again! Love you all! Thank you Jenny for getting me back :) xoxo

  7. 1) Teamed with Csans. Made through 9rds, Chris 10
    2) worked up to 275, this sucked
    3) i finished every rd around 2:20-2:25. Got my ass handed to me by Jibs & Csans
    4) ran 1 mile vested with Csans & Jkap. I think around 9:40

  8. Loving all the warm and fuzzies on the blog today. I will obviously echo the sentiments-- you guys are the best and love you all!

    Snatch ladder felt good;however, Maria and I stopped at 7 whoops.

    Worked up to 125 for the clean complex.

    Struggled finishing all the things in the E3MOM.. ended up rowing 250m the last 3 rounds so I could make it to the MU.

    Practiced freestanding HS holds/walks. Getting better but still have a looongg way to go! Wrapped the day up with my Jenny exercises and cool-down sesh with Ria, John, and Alex.

    Looking forward to seeing everyone tomorrow!
