Tuesday, November 3

For Class - Scale up to CTB for the workout.

Extra Work:
1) E2MOM10: 
Synchro Work -- With a partner complete -- 2 Squat Snatches + 8 OHS @ ~60% 1RM Snatch (Do your best to make the Squat Snatches in synchro, and touch and go.)

2) Core Conditioning - For Time complete:
50 T2B
50 V-Ups
50 Hollow Rocks

3) E6MOM36 (6 rounds):
65/50 AD Cals
*For those who did this last week, accomplish the same task on the Rower*
**If possible in your schedule complete this at a separate time from your main training session**

  1. OHS not excellent today. Failed 205# a few times then got it. Still below PR from a few months ago.
    Worked on b-fly C2B - need lots more work here.
    2 snatch plus OHS at 105# was solid but very tiring.
    Bully core workout: 10:08. V ups were hardest for me. HRocks getting better.

  2. Started with 2 rep hang snatch for a qualifier. 172# didnt get 176. had some strange bicep pain coming down for the 2nd at 176....i blame eating candy

    OHS 230# today! PR which was good!

    finished with 15 min amrap:
    Sled drag around rig 115#
    20 AD cal

    Will do core later tonight (prob 2 sets 50 vups and 50 HR- no TTB)

  3. 1. OHS were a big womp womp for me today. Ended at 175#, 15# shy of my PR.

    2. WOD in 11:58 - great detox from the weekend. C2B felt great, run felt not so great.

    3. Syncro work with ACon and Jess went well.

    4. Core work done in 9:37.

    5. Airdyne EMOM later on with Shelb, Jen and Jade: got all my 50cals with 1-2 minutes of rest each time.

  4. Wod-11:26. Slow runs but everything else felt good.
    OH sqt-went to 185 and stopped. All narrow grip-trying to see of that will prevent my shoulder from getting fucked up.
    EMOM-w/bro-d. 135. We looked good
    Core-15 minutes or so. It really was something to see
    AD by myself. Miserable. Finished the first one with 2 mins or so. All others were under 1:30 remaining. Really had to convince myself to keep going.

  5. AM - Solo Rowing mission: 65cals x 6 rounds - Fastest time: 2.55, Slowest: 3:01 - Good pacing work.

    PM -

    1) OHS shakey today, elbows and wrists just weak kept breaking under the bar which is very unusual for me. - 95, 145, 175, 205, 225, 240, 255, 270(F)

    2) WOD in 10:15 with CTB - All unbroken. Chipotle burrito settled into a bad place for runs on rounds 3&4 otherwise I coulda been sub-10 I think. Felt good on the first two runs tho.

    3) Snatch Work done with CSans and Omar - 145 first round was ugly, wrists hurting bad so went to 125 x 3 middle rounds, then ended at 145 again.

    4) Core work in 10:40 - Mostly the V-Ups stopping me.

  7. 1) did my Jenny-cises... The big blue ball is the devil.

    2) Did 50 Vups and 50 hollow rocks : felt the pain from GHDs on Sunday!

    3) Got to hang with my home girls while embracing the glory on the AD! Shelby, Jade and Boobie! Thanks guys for listening to me gasp for air and keeping me chugging along.
    Only had enough time time to do 5 rounds before I had to jet!

    CSans.... you totally pissed in my Cheerios by planting horribleness in Jibs' mind. I was looking forward to that beautiful row and BAM, the hammer came down.... NOPE! Jkjkjk seriously though, thanks Jibs and CSans for making me do that again.

  8. 1) OHS ended up feeling great today. Once I was able to get the bar overhead, I felt really confident in everything else. Hit 185, which was a PR, and think I have a bit more in me. So that was definitely the highlight of my Tuesday.

    2) The workout was a mental one for me with runs and wall balls. Finished in 16:55. I would say the part I struggled with most was wall balls-- sticking to my goal sets was hard after the run. CTB felt good overall-- but have some opportunity to improve my form there too! #WorkInProgress

    3) Did the airdyne workout after with Kenz and C Sans. Again-- this was mental. After the first round, I adjusted my goal to 40 cals in 5mins with 1 min rest between rounds. Thankful for my workout partners on this one!

    4) Wrapped up with synchro work with Kenz. Tiring after everything else but no real issues!

    Didn't get to ab work... Which is probably for the best considering my core is still rocked from GHDs on Saturday... Whoops

  9. 245 on OH squats. Previous PR at 265. Made jump from 245 to 275. Lost it at the bottom. Left elbow caved. Next time.

    10:53 for WOD. Forgot to scale up to CTB so shame on me. Funny how the wall balls felt so light after all the 30lb ones we've been doing.

    Snatched and OH squats with Maria and Jesse. Those went well minus the very first snatch that I missed (sorry guys).

    Did assault bike with Jesse and that was a good leg burner. Got all cals in about 4:30 first two rounds, 5ish for rounds 3/4 and 5:15ish for 5/6.

    Midline work later in the day. 11:51. Brutal. I suck at toes to bar but the V-ups were real gnarly.
