  1. Rough day today. Front squats felt real heavy and slow. Did get the 1 at 95% (225) but it was such a struggle bus that I didn't try for a PR.

WOD was fine. That's a good combo for Kraken. 10+2

For Effing Helen I was 20 seconds off my PR. Disappointed, but felt pretty bad during the 400s - unable to push through the pain today.

    225/275/300/330/350
    Wod - ~ 7 rounds.
Helen - Joey Cash Tier # 4. 9:55. Considering forearm amputation as well as never running again.

    1. Let it be known that Ca$h scaled up.

Would forearm implants be considered additional gear? I think so. #doit

    4. Heres a fun story of mine:
      April 19, 2011 - 6:48
      May 21, 2013 - 7.12
      December 15, 2014 - 7.27
Sometime last year - not logged but 7.18.
Struggling to get within 30 seconds of 4+ years ago always :\ - Those days where I could run like the wind are far behind me.

  3. Front squats felt pretty good. I had Jesse, Alex and Drago in my ear the whole time. Didn't slow down much at all.

    Old PR being 345#
Hit 355# then 365# where I towed the line of blacking out.

Wod was a shoulder burner for me. Need to continue working on double unders at red line.
    6+15

  4. Noon class was fun today, lots and lots of #meat there.

Front squats felt good today - Earned myself a 5# PR @ 235#.

WOD was good, I made the rookie mistake and didn't double knot my shoes - Jesse said I need to stop with the excuses - Finished 9+10.

Jesse and I did Helen together - He's an animal - I earned another PR at 8:02 (old was 8:15).

  5. I felt pretty damn good today!

Front squat I had a 20lb PR @ 375. Special thanks goes to Alex and Dru who told me to quit fucking around and put some weight on the bar

    Wod felt good... 7+3

Helen 7:41 which is a 22 sec PR. Thanks to Maria for doing the wod with me and pushing me!
Great way to end the week!

  6. For being how sore my whole body is... Today was an okay day. Went to the 9:30am class.

Only managed to get 200lb for 1 FS

Wod I decided to scale up to 45lb DB for some reason... I ended up getting 4+26... Something like that.

I managed to convince StarFox into doing Helen with me.... Thank god!
I got 8:54 which is not a PR (only PR is like 8:46) I didn't break on any of the KB swings or pull ups.. So the runs took me the longest.....

Excited for a rest day and proud of everyone :)

  7. Lots of awesome days today - congrats to everyone. Can't wait what will come after the de-load week.

Today - Tried to hit some FRWalking Lunges again, not great -- hit 185, 225, 255 for 6, then tried 275 for 4 and failed on left leg twice...called it there.

WoD - Went RX to try to contend with the Kraken and ended up tying her exactly at 10+2 - Had to run out pretty quick to make trivia night which was a good time.

    4. That workout lit up my back. Regretting the choice of speed over form.

Sorry to miss Trivia! Sounded like, so fun.

  8. Helen before class-7:39. Need to run better.
    F squats-got to 345-PR.
WOD-9+16-couldn't take down the kraken. Too many mess ups on early DU rounds
More importantly and disappointing to add to the negativism of K$ and Ca$h--only 1-4 in softball tonight which we lost in extra innings-I blame my performance for the team performance, I didn't get all the history questions correct tonight-damn Red Cross, and I forgot the exams for Jeff and Dru. Tough day.

  9. Front squats went well for me! I did 165, 175, 185, 200, 210, then went for some PRs! I hit 215 then 225, which both felt great. I then attempted 240, which was a fail. I definitely think I've got more than 225 in me though so excited to try that again soon.

The workout was alright... just like a few others mentioned, I messed up on my double unders a few times on the first two rounds which really slowed me down. I ended up with 7 rounds flat. The last 5 rounds I went unbroken.

Helen after all that was joyful. I am #SunshineTier on this one at 10:34, although this was a 1:34 second PR from the last time I did it in December. I went unbroken on kbs and pull-ups, but am just miserably slow on those runs. Overall, great day though! Excited for rest today for sure.
